Dalwood Estate Chardonnay 2024
Grown in sandy loam soils on the south bank of the Hunter River, Dalwood Estate Chardonnay reflects both site and season. The 2024 vintage followed a drier-than-average winter and spring, leading into warm conditions that delivered beautifully ripe fruit.
Picked in late January, this Chardonnay shows generous, exotic flavours of peach and melon, layered over a creamy palate with well-integrated oak. Balanced and expressive, it’s a refined yet approachable wine that drinks beautifully now.

Awards & Reviews:
93 Points - The Wine Review, Stuart Knox
" Medium straw yellow colour. Nougat, pineapple and hint of seaspray on the nose. Lovely focus and tension across the palate, green apple and just ripe nectarine fruits are well matched to sea shell minerality and a hint of smoky nut complexity. Good length, crisp and zippy to the finish."
92 Points - Halliday Wine Companion, Toni Paterson
" Good breadth, presence and freshness, with a distinct green almond and flinty sulfide vein running through the wine. Vigorous aeration helps integrate the savoury elements with the sweet fruit. The palate has impressive weight and texture, and the wine blooms beautifully in the glass. Serve with an umami-filled meal like mixed cheese soufflé or mushroom risotto to showcase its layers, unfurl its length and bring out its best."
