Convicts
The list of convicts who worked for George and Margaret Wyndham at sometime between 1828 and 1849.
The name of the ship and year of arrival is included. This is important as there were sometimes a few hundred people with the same name in the records and the name of the ship and arrival date are required to differentiate them.
Margaret Wyndham's name is included as George included her name on the title for all of his properties and required her signature when borrowing money for further development. Not a common occurrence in those days.
The convicts originated from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, New York, St Helena and Jamaica.
